I love Jambon de Bayonne, only really bought it in France (on holiday) though - I don't know why but quite rare here?
Supermarkets in UK seem to mainly stock "Parma ham" or Serrano, which I enjoy a great deal but Bayonne gets my vote (fuller, sweeter flavour I think).
Where do you get yours?
Writing about it has made me think of camping in France: local fresh ficelle or baguette, decent tomatoes, a slice of Comte and cheap bottle of red (when the girls were young, they would choose the wine for the night - always bottom shelf which was in reach, and cheap :)) God, I need a holiday in France :(
Beef Stroganoff.
