Sunday night is takeaway night so I had a lamb balti, mushroom rice and a naan. Mia the cat had Felix beef with carrots in jelly and as a treat a tuna and shrimp cat soup later.
Spicy meatballs and penne pasta, followed by a slice of hot dumpling(from neighbour) and light longlife cream substitute(which is rather good)
Chicken, spaghetti and vegetable bake.
Was going to have roast chicken but left it too late to cook it tonight so guess I'll just have to have a takeaway
Just home made veg soup tonight, had to use up some vegetables.
Sweet potato , Colly, carrots, Broccoli , Tuna in tomato sauce :)
Ham and tomato sandwich, tinned pears and custard. Mia had Felix chicken with kidney in jelly and is now sleeping under a speaker.
One of my favourites, cauliflower cheese with ham and some crusty bread. Mia had Felix turkey and lamb in jelly, one of her favourites.....purrrrrr......purrrrrr

Braised chicken, cauliflower, sweetheart cabbage & duck fat roast potatoes
Chicken & chorizo in a fresh tomato sauce with wholemeal pasta & parmesan
Love paella. Did you make it yourself? :)
Marco.
Indeed, nice one... I was just testing to see if you were filling yourself up with some unspeakable supermarket 'ready-meal' version of such! ;)
Marco.
As long as you use proper paella rice, not risotto (Arborio) rice, which is quite different ;)
Marco.
Had a 4 hour wait for my hernia op yesterday ( went well ) so celebrated last night with scampi and chips, boy was that good after 24 hour fast !
So plenty time today for some records and post silliness on here. b w
Thanks Alex. Plenty of fruit and veg they say because of possible constipation ?. It was a general one but only an hour long

Thanks for the advice mate!

Along with the thin green beans, we're having some fresh carrot batons and wild rice. Vino will be a rather lovely (chilled) Comte de Provence:

Don't know what it's called in Italian but we are having Mussels cooked in tomato/garlic sauce with Linguini. We often have this dish, which is really good value because a bag of live mussels is only around £3.50.
