Quite nice ice cream. Had to spin the tub in micro for 20 secs so I could make a dent in it. Lol.. But good quality icecream

Gosh, there's been SO much activity on this thread since I was last here - and too much fab food to comment on individually!:eek:

But I'll say that I'm lovin' those square sausages, Granty. But sorry, 'cheesy chips' aren't for me!:spew: That's not to say that the chips themselves weren't nice, but cheese on chips...Just NO, NO, NO... Yes, I can hear you, Roy!:D

Anyway... Father's Day lunch earlier, chez-moi. Just some quick snaps [photography not the best], as we were too busy eating and chatting! First up some fillets of pan-fried sea bass, in a fresh lime and butter sauce, with samphire and baby Pimento peppers:

next up, roast leg of Welsh lamb and gravy [made solely from the meat juices and herbs/garlic], with herby potatoes, seasonal veg, and a courgette and green bean 'sformato':

It's a bit like the fish situation, where down here cod is (sadly) the fish of choice in chip shops, whereas (IMO, the much superior haddock), or whiting, is served in Scotland:)
