We decided yesterday, after 3 weeks of Mrs. P's cooking we deserved a treat. So decided on a Chinese takeaway. But they are all closed for the foreseeable. The barefaced bloody cheek of it! So decided on Indian. Mrs. Pony very disappointed with hers, so I'm having her leftover for tea tonight. Waste not want not :)
Very nice, Tony. Crisp and fresh for Spring!
Wee tip, purely for appearance purposes... Next time, try shavings of Parmesan. I reckon it'd look even nicer:)
Granty, is that Donald Russell spag bol, same as you posted the last time? We're just having some dry Martini cocktails prior to lunch!
Marco.
Cocktails at dawn (or rather 2.35pm):

Classic Dry Martini Cocktail:
1 part Noilly Prat vermouth.
1 part vodka.
1 dash Orange Bitters.
Twist of fresh orange to garnish, and add an extra orangey 'zing'.
Marco.
Starter for Easter Sunday lunch:
Peppered hot-smoked salmon with dressed salad leaves and sliced gherkins, topped with Del's homemade Gravadlax sauce, made from fresh dill from our garden:
