Lamb looks TREMENDOUS, Tony! Yum, yum... Stew's looking good too, Granty:)
I'm having smoked haddock chowder today, to start, followed by 36-day aged Aberdeen Angus ribeye steak (from Aldi), with a homemade peppercorn sauce, which will be served with croquette potatoes, fine green beans, mangetout and onion rings, and will be washed down with a nice bottle of Rioja Gran Reserva...
Pics to follow!
Marco.
No veg in stock as I used it all in the soup lol.. So having the stew with boiled then air fried potatoes... as sort of roastie.... maybe some beans
Looks nice anywayhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9097b111a8.jpg
Living the Dream Grant, living the dream..
As promised, haddock chowder with freshly chopped chives from our garden (just enough of a portion to whet your appetite and get your taste buds going, before the main event):

Prep of the steak, including the grinding of fresh peppercorns for the sauce (made also with fresh cream, beef stock and a touch of brandy):

Meat rubbed with rock salt and freshly-ground pepper, plus garlic, fresh rosemary (from our garden) and olive oil.... Have to say, the quality of this meat from Aldi is just superb:

Cooked and served with previously listed veg:

Lol, thanks. Sauces are Del's 'speciality', as she's been making them from scratch since she was 8 years old! :)
