I've been using Tesco for years for my online groceries and rarely have any issues. They do point out on the receipt and short dates and you can reject them if you wish. I tried Asda a few times but their dates are very iffy, sometimes same day so I don't use them a lot.
Yeah, which is why I don't really like supporting that system... In store, you can reach right at the back of the shelves and pick the stuff with the best dates, which makes quite a difference to freshness and how long things last!:)Quote:

Cheers, mate. It was made the night before and left for all the juices to infuse in the red wine and shallots, tomatoes, garlic and bay leaves. Mash and greens were made fresh tonight - was delish!:cool:
