OK, What's For Lunch or Tea Today?

Some nice looking scran being posted here, chaps... Roy-boy, you're a dab hand at that pork belly, top man!:thumbsup: And Granty, lovin' the look of yer lamb hotpot:cool:

We've just finished taking down all the indoor Xmas decs, tree and outdoor decs, and tidied up, which took a few hours to do! So now it's time to relax with some beetroot-infused (with a touch of edible gold) smoked Scottish salmon blinis (all sourced from Lidl), topped with crème fraîche and fresh chives:

Normally they would be, but when you have 8 of the buggers all to yourself, it qualifies as a starter - and they were delish!:D

Yup, its difficult to trust any politician or food company nowadays. I try and pay extra to get wild stuff(M&S do it still)

Fish is difficult now here. Tesco only sells pre packaged as do many. I try to find the wild stuff even tho it costs the earth. Gonna have to start bulk imports from Alaska I think lol

We have a local Waitrose for fresh fish and most unusual, have a fresh fish shop recently opened up in town.

no waitrose near here alas. m and s is all the way to falkirk food wise. morrisons may still have fish counter. not been in for while.

No worries, mate, but the smoked salmon pictured was from Lidl! It was gorgeous:)
