Lol, no worries... The most important part of the 'authentic' bit is the layering, and making sure that there's more pasta than sauce, and you've got that spot on. It also looks lovely and moist, and can tell from the look of the meat sauce that it's rich and flavourful. No, top job!:thumbsup:

Today it was Del and my 28th wedding anniversary, so rather than going out, we decided to stay in and cosy up by the log fire and watch some movies. Therefore, after I made some homemade cocktails (chilled Prosecco with Limoncello, and Aperol Spritz), served with veggie canapés and nibbles, the main event arrived... To start, Gravadlax of Scottish smoked salmon, drizzled with dill sauce and served with fresh salad leaves, gherkins and red peppers::

Followed by local Welsh lamb cutlets in a herb crust, made from fresh rosemary, lemon and orange thyme, garlic, sage and parsley, served with roast potatoes. broccoli, buttered carrots, fresh vine tomatoes and lemon wedges:
