£4 a pie, but proper pastry and proper filling so not too far from homemade. With all the ceramics I can eventually make a pile up and freeze them for use. :eyebrows:

Only thing is, the pastry looked a bit stodgy and 'peely-wally'.... Why was that? With steak pies, I like my pastry nice and golden!:)

My lunch was 4 slices of corned beef having said that.;)
just a light but tasty dinner. had that pie as a lunch. im not a big eater tbh mostly. salmon was lovely. had to go to livingston for that. Cant get good salmon in Bathgate. got another pack for tomorrow.
