Really very good home.made beef bourginion I had forgotten I had in the freezer, though it looks a bit odd somehow in this picture, but trust me it was good.
With organic carrots and compromised by Sainsbury's microwave mash which was OK but too watery really.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9e3fbff9ac.jpg
Chicken base stock. It's been reduced a fair bit and is that lovely colour now.
Gonna make soup

Nothing beats a good Chicken Stock!
Yup, quite simply, it's the basis for creating *proper* tasty food, especially soups and sauces! If you attempt to make either of those, without using a good home-made stock, the results will always be bland and inferior!
We made a big pot of it at the weekend, from fresh herbs/veg and a chicken carcass, which will soon be used to make all sorts of lovely, tasty meals:)
Marco.
Nice soup, mate!:)
Today's breakfast, nice big mug of cappuccino (made with new Moka pot and freshly-ground Mocha Italia beans), with toasted crusty Polish bread/butter and French 'Bon Maman' strawberry jam, with some of Del's homemade shortbread biscuits, left over from Sunday:

Marco has a supermarket 'ready meal' for lunch!!:D
In this case, Sainsbury's 'Taste the Difference' lasagne, enjoyed with a cheeky wee Polish lager:

Undoubtedly the BEST and most authentic lasagne I've tasted (and as an Italian I'd know), produced by a supermarket. If you like lasagne, *this* is the one to go for! :exactly:
