Smoked salmon and prawn salad platter to start. Grilled venison steaks, roast potatoes, honeyed roast parsnips, carrots, brussel sprouts, green beans and red cabbage.
2005 Chateau Castelbruck, Margaux to drink (my last bottle),
Traditional Christmas pudding with cream and crumbled Cantucci Alle Mandorle almond cookies for dessert. Port and stilton to follow.

2 large glasses of white wine. Not really hungry but the wine hit the spot.
Cold cooked Gammon from Christmas day with bubble & squeak, topped with a fried egg.
Not been eating much tbh. Appetite gone. Bad time of year tbh
