A light lunch earlier (as we'll be having dinner tonight)... Back to the 70s with a classic prawn cocktail, using lettuce from our garden:

Noice... That would go down well in Barry's virtual 'Berni Inn'!:D
Marco.
Heh-heh... Exotic!:D
Marco.
Felt like “picky food” this evening, so a mix of bought and made.
Tortilla (hm)
Empanadas (sort of) of Cooked Chorizo, onion and cheese (hm)
Avocado dip (Hm)
Marinated Anchovies
Tomato & Mozzarella

Nice one, Tony, and respect for your love of fresh anchovies [count me in] - I suspect not many here would share our love of such:eyebrows:
Tortilla's looking particularly good (I can tell it's homemade)... What's on the 'toasts'?:)
Any vino, beers or whatever, accompanying that lot? That's the only thing your posts here are missing... A list of accompanying drinkies for your delightful food!;)
Come to think of it, that applies to most folks, save Barry. Royster used to tell us what wine he was drinking, but recently he's gone all shy!:D No idea what Granty drinks with his meals - whisky?
In Italy, we *always* have something to drink with food. Meals are incomplete without it.
Marco.
Cheers Marco,
Drinking Terreo (French Malbec) and it’s going down nicely [emoji4][emoji106]
The toasts have got a drizzle of Olive Oil and a good spread of Chargrilled Aubergine Pesto on them.
The little empanadas have some nice, spicy cooking Chorizo, onion and little cubes of Cheddar.
The Avocado dip is Avocado, garlic, lime, olive oil, coriander and cumin, s&p.
Tony
