Lol - Del says, as fabulous as the cook?:D;)
They were rather magnifique, mate... So light and fresh, not stodgy in any way, yet super-tasty. Doubt you'd get better in a French restaurant or patisserie. She was teaching my dad to do them the other night.
Marco.
Indeed.
They look better than any I've seen in pics tbh. A talented lass
Cheers, mate. She puts me to shame as a talentless shmuck in comparison!:eyebrows:
Actually, it's true.
Marco.
Btw, Granty, do you like crêpes Suzette?

Del will be using up the rest of the pancake mix to make those. It's a classic (French) 70s thing, and back in the day in 'posh' restaurants, I used to love watching it being flambéed at the table, by the head waiter (along with the likes of steak Diane):)
If you don't like orange though, you'll hate it!:D
Marco.
not had it but it looks great..
Lol, cool... We'll see then if Del's ends up looking as good!:)
This is the recipe: https://www.greatbritishchefs.com/re...suzette-recipe
Marco.
a lot of work that..:)
Nah, she'll knock that up in less than 10 mins, mate. Done it umpteen times before. Most of it is in the prep, and the pancake/crepe mix is already made:)
