We just call it a 'breakfast tea', and we have that about once every couple of weeks.
Stifado (Greek beef stew) - was really good if I do say so myself.

Beef stew. Yes a lot, but only meal of the day.
Very similar to what we had today. Pictures to follow.

Some nice dinners there Barry. We had Burger King!
We're having McDonalds in between hospital visits tomorrow and I'm pushing the boat out with a McFlurry for afters..
We found Bistro 359 in Bognor Regis last time we were here in May last year and it was so good it was a must visit again this time around.
Never had Bulgarian cuisine before, I guess fairly typical of the Balkans and influences from Greece and Turkey, but with its own twist.
We had a selection of starters to share; Cheddar Bites, Cornflake Chicken, mushrooms and Calamari.

For main I had Chicken Shashlik, the Bulgarian take on a chicken kebab a foot long!

Sue had Pork Shashlik, Billy had Bulgarian Sausage and Mash and Tamzin had Pork Medallions in a mushroom and cheese sauce.
All were excellent, and the ambience and staff fabulous. Hopefully it won’t be another 18 months before we return!

The chips look good, as does all of it. Nice to see the asparagus peeping out under the veg. :)
Gammon, egg and spuds

Love gammon and eggs! But I’ve never had 3… [emoji4]

You can't eat chicken and chips dressed like that! ;)
An experimental reverse engineering of the pork medallions we had in the Bulgarian restaurant last week - worked well and everyone ate it so that’s a bonus!

Mashed potato?
Are they similar to porpoises?
Oven baked salmon with boiled potatoes, carrot, green beans, brocolli, tomato and onion.
No pictures as I was keen to eat it without delay.
Well it sounds very nice. Haven't had salmon in ages. Most fish has become so expensive.

Mustard stuffed chicken with loaded potato skins, garlic mushrooms and veg. Was lovely if I do say so myself.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

You're living well. I had cheese on toast yesterday.
But cheese on toast is fabulous!
With apologies if it offends Barry, another picture of my hole!

No offense given and none taken. It looks good and I would eat it all - except the "hole", which would remain whole!
Amalfi Orzo Chicken - another Mary Berry “foolproof” recipe and a good one.

Almost like a risotto, going down well with the family.
New recipe - Florentine Chicken Pasta - will definitely be repeated as we all enjoyed it, even the dog. Mind you, he eats anything.

It's from Sarah Rossi's book "What's For Dinner? - Fuss-free Family Food in 30 Minutes" - and it's really easy - put your choice of pasta on the stove to cook, meanwhile cut some chicken breasts into small pieces, and fry in some oil from a jar of sun-dried tomatoes. Chop around 150g of the tomatoes into small pieces, add to the cooked chicken with about 100g of spinach and a large tub of garlic and herb cream cheese, stir in a few spoonfuls of the pasta water until you have a nice smooth sauce, then drain and add the pasts once cooked with 100g of grated Parmesan and enjoy!
Sarah goes by the online moniker of "Taming Twins" and as a busy mum has some great recipes that are quick and easy.
