I used to do belly pork with apricots for an evening meal when I was a student. In those days (last century!), belly pork was very cheap. Haven't bought it for years, so I don't know its price nowadays.

Salad leaves (baby spinach, red and green butterhead lettuce), cooked red cabbage, sweetcorn, cold boiled potatoes, avocado, red pepper, tomato and cucumber.
Fruit for dessert: William pear and a couple of peaches.
