Like Justers, I'd have had some small chopped up chunks of carrot and celery in there, to give the mince more texture.... I'm sure it tasted good, though!

hate carrots in mince. its like wee worms coz thats the type of mincer they used. I prefer a rougher grade of cut but it was well aged and correct fat content. tasted great.
No worries. The important thing is to enjoy it the way you like it:)

Do you never eat any fish, apart from fish with chips? Lidl sell some nice fresh fish, salmon, sea bass, all sorts. Very good for you!:)

that was lush. superb value. proper tasting tomatos, wine steak etc..pity i only bought 1. other one i tried is haddock in cheese sauce with mash. same maker so should be good. might go back next week lol
