Ever get the urge for chilli, and eating something hot and spicy?:)
As nice as 'meat and two veg', with some gravy is, when done well [which you do], I'd get fed up with that and crave some SPICE IN MY LIFE!!:D
That's why the first thing I do when coming back from a holiday in France or Italy, is go for a nice curry, or a Chinese, simply to enjoy a change of food...
Marco [likes variety in his diet] :yesbruv:
Couldent be arsed with cooking tonight so resorted to
French stick , Cheese ,onion and black olives with some chilli sauce :)
Kebabs aren't really spicy though, and so aren't the same thing.
I just like having different types of food, and need some variety in my diet, as I'd get bored eating the same stuff all the time, which is why after 2 weeks on holiday of consuming solely European food, as nice as it is, I badly crave a hot curry! :)
Marco.
Alas I can't eat curried food even tho I want to so it has to be chilli and spices etc. Ginger too is good. My bro was a big curry lover and maker
Occasionally. I don't mind a bit of chilli. It's pongy aromatic spices I'm not keen on, hence my dislike of curry (and other Indian food).
I make a decent Chinese (American Cantonese style) meal now and then, quite good at those, they look and taste authentic. Might do one this week actually.
I love all that too, and all forms of Asian or middle eastern herbs and spices - anything that's tasty and a bit different is good in my book! :)
In an average week at home, with meals, I can go from having traditional Italian, to British, French, Spanish, then to Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese or even Greek food - and often other things too, using meat, fish, vegetables or salads, plus overall I prefer rice, couscous or polenta, to potatoes. No way could I eat the same type of food all the time.
As they say, variety is the spice of life!!
Marco.
