Yes, duck was delicious thanks, more by accident than design! I marinated it in hoisin, soy & sesame oil. Intended to slow cook it and have crispy duck but the foodi had other ideas and dinner was two hours earlier than expected!
Mini-meatballs. Made with minced beef, chargrilled-aubergine pesto and Grana Padano cheese.
The tomato sauce is made with Mutti Passata, a diced shallot, fresh basil and a teaspoon of Ricotta Forte. A few tablespoon of this mixed into the cooked pasta, together with freshly grated parmesan and black pepper.
Then topped with meatballs, sauce and seasoning.
*the pasta is Garofalo Casarecce.
