Correct, there isn’t!
I occasionally make ravioli etc from scratch with fresh eggs from my hens and whatever i have kicking around for the filling. Best thing is that you can use pretty much anything and it’s fun to experiment.
It’s bit of a faff making the dough, so i ended up using my bread machine to take the effort out of it and this to shape and fill the ravioli.

I’ve got an attachment on my pasta machine that is supposed to fill and cut the ravioli, but it went in the bin after the first use.
I’ll post some pics next time i make some.
Also if one has the room, i couldn't recommend owning chickens highly enough. Delightful and amusing creatures, that and they eat all leftover food and scraps, so are almost free to own.
All noted, Jon (it's really Dave though, isn't it?)
Yup, if you're making pasta, then the quality of the eggs used, and their freshness, is a big factor. Of course, using the right flour too is vitally important. We're certainly looking forward to having our own chickens, and like you we've got plenty of room for them to roam around:)
Any tips, in terms of how many to get to start off with? We're not looking to have loads, just enough to provide us with a regular supply of fresh eggs and ensure that they're happy and in the right environment. Indeed, any useful info or advice you could impart would be much appreciated:cool:
