i think they are actually smaller than that picture.. its a dish i used to get at xmas in my fav italian place in leith when i was working there. certainly no bigger than an inch each.

No worries, plus they'll expand a little when boiled. If you like that, I'll get Del to make you some when you visit [from my mum and gran's recipe]. The secret is to get maximum flavour into the broth by using a really good, fresh chicken stock, and sprinkle in some fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese:)

dunno yet. got blueberrys as they had no rasps. thought this wouuld be good way.. can have with rice, cereal, porridge..ice cream even
