Was going to take photo this morning of breakfast, but didn't, just toast, three pieces, one with mushrooms on, the next with fried egg on, last piece with cherry tomatoes, it was a plateful, big plate.Quote:

We went out for lunch today, back to Brasserie Blanc, in Knutsford, where we went recently to celebrate my birthday. This time to do some shopping (as it's such a lovely old town with a great selection of privately-owned, individual shops, which we like), and to sample their excellent value 2-course lunch menu, for a mere tenner...:eek:
I started with some Gazpacho:

...along with a large glass of their house red, which was extra (£7.95). The food was absolutely superb, and quite astonishing value for money, considering its quality and the surroundings we were in! It's now destined to become one of our regular haunts:)

Have you ever tried making Carbonara? The authentic one has no cream in it, unlike most folk think!
