Tonight it was a quick dinner needed as it to drum lesson with son - Tesco Finest beef bourguignon and silver skin onion pie with crinkle cut chips and veg. Stuffed now!

Yes, of course. I should have known - it is what my partner would call them, but then coming from a francophone country, French is her second language. However I was confused since "haricot" simply means 'bean' in French, and needs an additional adjective to distinguish one type of bean from another.

I try not to post the same dishes twice, think I have probably posted this before but it is a refined version using Panko breadcrumbs - Katsu chicken burger and fries. Jolly tasty it was too.

And bless them, the kids have spent a huge amount of the day preparing what can only be described as a veritable Greek feast. Absolutely gorgeous, and I did nothing apart from put the Taverna music on! (But I expect I’ll now be clearing up!)
