I don't get it. If someone can just stop drinking alcohol for a whole month for no good reason, they clearly don't have a problem. And January is probably the most miserable month, so why make it worse? I spent it at a mate's house, where we went to his local for a couple of beers, then back to his to see the new year in. I 'd known I wouldn't want any more beer so I'd taken along a bottle of chardonnay that had been kicking about in the fridge for a few weeks, that'll do for me :)
I did not know that Anita's thieving youngest son had drunk it all and refilled the bottle with water and put it back in the fridge, the little shitbag. The result being that I saw the new year in with a can of Pepsi Max :(
