Grant,
Now here is your real cowboy whiskey. (Kentucky Rye)
Ice is a must , I could totally see Jack Palance drinking this from a tin cup next a camp fire . Pares nice with beef Jerky.
It really has a strong rye flavor and every shot after the first gets better and better. :eyebrows:
Not a cheap Rye $30.00 to $40.00 a bottle . It is the very creamy and stays on your pallet, it screams Rye flavor.
As I had to explain to Nosheen , My friend and I did not really drink that much, you have to take into account evaporation.
A different tattoo of a hot girl hidden in every bottle .
It dose not have the smoothness of real Cuban rum but its close enough you can drink it over ice and not so expensive that it can't be mixed with Coke.
Used to get good sailor here but they changed the recipe and last one I tried wasn't good. That looks more like the old stuff.
Nice drop if it is.
Not been on song today.. A bit lightheaded.. Kill or cure..
A nice drop thishttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...786e56affd.jpg
Nice it's been awhile since I've had a good scotch.
Maybe you got a bad barrel of sailor, sold to soon .
I have had this happen to me with other brands.
Irish malt tonight.
Nice drop for not a lothttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e59de4d20d.jpg
A miniature tonight.. Glendronach 15 revival.
Lots of sherry and Xmas fruits on the nose.
A nice oily mouthfeel with liquorice in there too maybe orange in the finish.
Quite like this, fairly complex and yet upfront dram.
Might have to buy a bottle

A new bottle today..
Gelstons 12yr old Rum finished Irish Whiskey.
6 months in rum casks have imparted a little nautical slant to this.. Quite oaky, this Belfast whiskey. A bit of lemon and possibly other fruits too. A bit of banana coming through now too.
Finish is quite warm and long.
edit.. it likes a drop of water:eyebrows:
a question for goraman, jeff.. what do you think of Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon??

So not too bad, but really improves with water if you get any. It's often on offer.. Not worth full price.
