Decent 'everyday' malt on offer in Sainsbury's, so picked up one while I was there (as I like sherry-casked, non-peaty malts): https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/...isky-70cl-463-
Good price - I've paid far more for a bottle of red!;)

Cool... When you say "needs air", do you mean it needs to breathe in the glass for a while before drinking?:)

I found on first drink I wasn't Overy impressed. I left bottle with the air in from a drink missing and when I went back next time it was improved.
It's not overly unusual with young whisky. I'd estimate it to be 5 or 6. A bit of air, a splash of O2 and its rather good.
Ah I see... No worries, and yes I agree about a splash of water, as I've just tried it that way and it was rather nice! I usually put a 'teardrop' of water in all whisky, as I find it opens up and smooths out the flavours, but with the Bunnahabhain a touch more than that is better!:)

Voted best whiskey in the world 2020 Jim Murray's whiskey bible.
I have to take Conner to baseball he is pitching in Sacramento tonight.
I will tell more about how I got these unicorn bottles when I get back.

Won last year's small batch bourbon. I imagine I would need to dilute it. [emoji23]
