A treat today; Glen Grant Cask Haven Rothes Chronicles at 46%, and aged in first fill bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is traditional GG...In mouth are honey, burning sugar, cinnamon, followed by marzipan and GG's trademark waxy, floral taste. A nice warming and longish finish. Very nic stuff and difficult to believe its a nas.
This is an "Old Style" whisky profile.. no big slap in face, just quality whisky. well done GG
Did i mention the fruitiness?:eyebrows:
