Slight change on shelf. A nice bottle of Dalmore port wood. Got a free glass with this with lid. Was from Whisky World as they had let me down on a delivery so refunded me my postage and gave me a credit note too, so picked this up at a nice price,

deanston's 18 yr old.. this is fabulous stuff.. one you all should have in your rotation.. nectar
Well, I kept picking up this bottle of Dalmore 12 and putting it back for something else.
I just don't like their use of excessive caramel coloring, chill filtering and low 40% ABV. this just doesn't reflect top quality in my mind.
I saw this gift pack included 2 nice copita glasses so at $65.00 it came home with me.
It is a really good tasting 12 year old scotch, I like it. It is not as tame as some 12 year old bottles I've had so 40% makes sense for this bottle.
A drop of water and a good swirl around the glass is strongly recommended.
I love the glasses and the whiskey is good too.
Yeah they use e150a AFAIK, which is only one allowed here. It's tasteless tho. Chill filtering is usual under 46.3%.
