just doesnt put a foot out of place, with a splash of water..lots of fruit here along with vanilla and pepper. blackcurrents, sherry, peel, chocolate and the odd bit of copper. a half teaspoon tops of water opens and smooths this even further. its closer to the 15 than the 12 imo but for me better, and cheaper at about £46 here at moment.
maybe slightly dryer in profile.

Is there any shortbread in there?
I heard from a good source the price of ER 10 year is expected to go up so I bought 4 bottles and gave one as a birthday gift .
Maybe Friday I will get a bottle of Powers JL. I don't know it will beat RB15 for me as the flavor profile is different but it sounds like a darn good bottle to have around as I don't just stay with one favorite bottle.I do something different all the time. I love the flavor profile of the RB15 so much ,I don't think another Irish Whisky can replace it in my cabinet,though it may have to share some space.

Grant, we have to be very careful here...
If we ever got Marco to convert from wine to whiskey ,he would have his own copper pot still and Rick house full of casks.
He would begin drinking away all his wine to fill the bottles with whiskey!
This just can't happen the wine industry needs him.

Yeah, keep him drinking wine. Don't want the price going up

Yes it's a lovely glass.

Very expensive here a pair will be $80.00 but worth it.
After reading about the Jacobites it would be fitting to drink some Tryconnell in that glass.In honor of then Tryconnell Deputy Governor of Ireland who appointed Catholics to high level positions in both the Military and political positions.
He played a large roll in that political movement. It's also a good excuse to have a good Irish drop in a very nice looking glass.:eyebrows:

matured in Spanish oak Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks.. bottled at 61% abv . fairly young but should be nice

edit.. yes a lot of water to tame this beast.. very sherried with lots of wood spice.. european oak if 1st fill can be very powerful.. still its a lovely drink when tamed a bit... but never domesticated:eyebrows:
