Good stuff, guys. It's a veritable Billy Bargain... Plenty others like that, too!
And which reminds me... When you return to Lidl, Robin, be sure to scroll back first on this thread to where I highlighted what was worth getting, from the pics you took of the shelves, as there are some stonkers in there:)
This (which was shown in your pic) is an *absolute must*:

Think 'poor man's' Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but not so poor!;)
And don't forget the Chablis (also shown on the shelves):

But don't wait too long to go back, as their stocks change frequently!
:cool:
Marco.
Thought I’d try this as it was on offer in Asda for £19:50

followed by a powers johns lane... the powers has it imo.. better rounded whiskey for me.. my new go to i think for irish, along with the rb12
:doh::doh::doh
:no: I love the short bread and the dark fruits and hint of chocolate,baking spices and finish of apricots and vanilla that lasts forever in Redbreast 15 it is in the top 3 whiskeys I ever had. My favorites are Glen Farclas 21,Redbreast 15 and Eagle Rare 10.
And followed by Red Breast 12CS. Please Grant ,Tell me more about the Powers 12. In detail ,what is better about it than the 15? For me the RB15 is near a perfect dram.I just wish it was over 60 ABV.
