The UK CEO got an underling to sent me an email in middle of night(unfortunately for him i was awake) it said the driver needs an official picture of you to prove your over 18:doh::doh: what a lily livered cretin.
I said if his drivers cannot tell that a man in his 60's isnt over 18 then they have no business working in a reponsible job.
total bull and the ceo, Douglas John Gurr obviously doesnt believe in Bozos empty chair for the customer as thats who we serve.. he is far to far up the tree it appears to be bothered in answering his own mail... and didnt even get his secretary to do it.. just sent it to customer service..
so folks, i suggest voting with your feet re amazon until they start treating customers correctly. ;)
rant temporarilly over:D
Ouch , Thats why my Mc Vitie's are more too.
I just read an article that because Air bus is subsidized it has an unfair advantage ,so we put a tax on scotch and Biscuits till the EU comes to the table.
There is still a Kennedy tax of sorts scotch that goes back to Jack. Making it very expensive here.

Right a small interlude from the whisky love-in.... :eyebrows:
Aside from alcohol, does anyone enjoy a nice soft drink? I do occasionally, but aside from Coke or Pepsi, *NOTHING* tastes like it used to [when you were a kid], not lemonade, fizzy orange, limeade or whatever... Until now!
Those of you who live in Ireland may already be aware of Maine Soft Drinks, but for everyone else:

PROPER soft drinks, which taste like they used to, delivered to your door, just like the 'Alpine man' used to do in Scotland! Even, Irn Bru, Granty!:D
Or do you remember when Barr's used to do limeade, orangeade and various other flavours in glass bottles, during the 70s and 80s? Well, the Maine stuff tastes EXACTLY like that. Really brings back memories!:)
Anyway, my local dairy is now delivering this to me, along with milk, cream, orange juice, etc. I've ordered some American cream soda and Irn Bru, so we'll see what that's like, but the limeade and orangeade, tases limey and orangey like nothing you can buy now in a supermarket!
Highly recommended, especially with summer arriving - ice-cream sodas, here we come!:yay:
Marco.
