Have a quick dram tonight. Glen Grant 10 Hepburn a choice from 2004. Very light colour but delish. 46% but smooth for a 10. No wonder it was popular

quite pleasant but a bit young for my taste. not sure i'd buy a bottle at nearly £70. why i often buy the trial bottles
A larger than life Tyrconnell port wood tonight.
I did manage to source another bottle so I can enjoy this even more
It has an eversoslightly pink appearance but is still very nice.
The fancy bottle I treated myself to has now been opened after quarentine.
A rare 18yr old Glen Grant. [emoji3]
If I'm for the next life I might just drink ithttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...332304988e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...00e0c1e02c.jpg
Just popped into our local Portuguese deli to collect some bits and pieces, and nabbed a bottle of this on recommendation from the owner:

Apparently it's a bit of a stonker! And superb VFM at £7.99 a bottle. Portuguese wines are seriously underrated and often hard to come by. Going to have this one tonight with some 28-day aged fillet steak with Bordelaise sauce, served with (garlic, olive oil and herb-infused) new potatoes, as shown here:

Can't wait!:)
Marco.
good if it comes out like that
Yeah, should do... The Bordelaise sauce should also look similar to this:

Nice rich red-wine jus, with beef demi-glace and lots of finely chopped shallots and fresh parsley!:)
Marco.
