it is.. its from the Buffalo Trace distillery.. buffalo trace itself is very good too, but a little younger.. similar mashbill although not quite same; barrel placement is a lot to do with good bourbon due to weather in kentucky. Young ones can pick up flavours from wood quickly due to the heat etc producing more movement into and out of the wood. where in scotland it happens much more slowly

rather nice with the cucumber tonic .. you could use seltzer as well, although originally it would be club soda... ginger ale too can be used.
i might add eagle isnt the best bourbon to use tbh, but that was what was open. its a bit full bodied. think i will try a rye one next time as ive never had a rye old f
