I'm impressed, Tony - that's a lovely wine! Where did you buy it and how much did it cost? Just curious:)
Not surprised it went well with the Thai food. Next time though, try it with some sole meunière!;)
More seriously, and just as a little tip, if you're going to have white wine with the likes of Thai or Indian food/curries, try a good Gewurztraminer, particularly Alsatian varieties. Have a read here:
