In the main I’m ok, although all the family were suffering from a virus for the last few weeks, which flooded us, but we are now recovering. My wife was diagnosed with Temporal arteritis, 12 months ago, which was quite worrying at the time , she has now been off work for a year and is on a cocktail of drugs including some vey heath duty steroids, so her immune system is shot to pieces. Things are getting better but very slowly.

very nice drink
fruity, oaky warming and longish finish. opens nicely with a small drop of water.
overall very nice drink. always enjoy fettercairn stuff.
Not Covid, I hope? In any case, glad you're recovering!:)
No idea what that is (compared with ordinary arteritis), but sounds nasty and I wish her all the best, and a full recovery (if possible) ASAP.Quote:

Arteritis refers to inflammation of your arteries that damages your blood vessel walls and reduces blood flow to your organs. There are several types of arteritis. The symptoms and complications that occur depend on which arteries are affected and the degree of damage
Cheers, mate. I know that, but just wondered what specifically was different about Temporal arteritis, in comparison with 'basic arteritis'.

IN my wife’s case it was the swelling of the arteries in the Brain, so here sight was in danger and a few other things.Luckily she did not need surgery just lots of drugs. There is marker they use to measure it form the blood tests, normal is 5-10 , the wife was 125, so a bit scary but thinks are improving but they have to ween you off the steroids, so still a few months to go. Still lots of side effects for her unfortunately.
