think scottish stores sometimes get different stock, depending on sales.. ive seen stuff in one shop that another didnt get either... maybe as your a wino your stores get in more:ner:

WE have 2 Aldi stores locally but the wine selection is very hit and miss. Always happy to try out any gems.

Lol... Oh I know all about it, mate [the southern bias/prioritisation of supermarket stock], from when I lived in Glasgow.

Used to watch foodie programmes, where certain wines were recommended, apparently which were available in 'selected stores' (of whatever featured supermarket/wine merchant it was), then going along to my local store to find it, of course only to find that it wasn't one of the said 'selected' (and indeed rarely ever was)...:rolleyes:

Strangely, I almost never encounter that problem now!:hmm:;)
