this will be very sherry as its all been done in sherry butt and a single one at that.. bottled in jan, and still a few left. i paid a fair bit less for mine..
Another sherry monster from the Glendronach distillery.
Founded by James Allardice(Allardes).
This is the cask strength batch 8.
Real sherry monster this matured in Ximinez and Oloroso casks and bottled at 61%.
Vanilla, cherries, lots of pepper on the end too, and of course oodles of sherry.
This stuff puts a glow in your body and a grin on the face.
Ps needs water.. Lol

61%
Tried the Northland.
A light trail of smoke from nose to mouth to finish but not too much and non smoke lovers will I think not be upset.
Honeyed, lightly spiced and perhaps nutty.
I'm still not overly convinced with it but it's certainly very drinkable.
Not sure on age of this but I know it was seasoned in quarters from islay(probably Laphroaig by the flavour of smoke)
I certainly wouldn't push it away [emoji23]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9ea8a9eb73.jpg
although not a lot of smoke i feel its not one i'd buy. quite nice for its age tho.. its not old.. maybe 3 yrs or so
