As you know, I'm rather a Rioja fanatic but tomorrow is my wedding anniversary and to treat the rather mad woman who married me I will be getting fillet steak with all the trimmings, the butchers is a stone's throw from the Co-Op, so I will try and seek that one out. Thanks Barry!Quote:

If your store has the same layout as ours, the Barolo, for some strange reason, will be located in the first main section of wine (where all the 'cheapy' stuff usually is), and the Squinzano will be in the 'posh section' inside the wooden crates nearest the checkouts.
I'll give you another couple of reccos too, which are very good indeed.... This is a really nice Côtes du Rhône (also should be located in the 'posh section'):

I do like apple flavoured drinks, i don't particularly like JD but i thought i'd give it a go, in my opinion it's at best OK, I really wish i'd gone with the bottle of single malt i was looking at before i spotted this though
