Slept like a baby. Hey I'm in lockdown now. [emoji23]
So not much has changed
Did you really sleep since 4pm? I wish I could get back to sleep. Maybe I should go looking for a whisky. If I do I'll stick with the ones we have open, though we do have a new bottle of Illicit Still - bought as a curiosity.

About 6pm I guess I fell asleep.
So 10 hrs but with pit stops
Trick is to use good quality malt. That way no hangover
Another new bottle today as I make merry.
Tamdhu 12yr old sherried. Their best value dram and very nice it is too.
I've a few bottles coming for new year so making room I collection by taking out the drinkers. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...96fd94dc13.jpg

I've always favoured Scotch whisky over other spirits i've tried in the past and until recently wouldn't thank you for a dark rum, that is until i tried these 2:

These are by a fair margin my new favourite spirits, smooth a little sweet just lovely.
Grant you're missing out on a rare treat, after sampling each i must say that if you like a sherry finish to your whisky which i do, then these are right up your street, they are both a bit sweeter than a single malt and the added sweetness brings out the complexity of flavours.
Before trying these 2 my exposure to rum had been, OVD, Capt Morgan and Navy rum and the only one of the three i could stand was Capt Morgans and then only in small quantities, but these are on another level, refined and mellow, not for mixing with coke or blackcurrant.
Think i'll watch Pirates of the Caribbean this afternoon, Arrrrgh!!
