Picked this up on offer at £9 in the local Co-Op. Not bad at all, very smooth and makes a nice change from my usual “go to” Spanish wines.[emoji846]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a08d68f393.jpg
Nice one, mate. I'll look out for that myself. If you like claret/Bordeaux styles, and as you've just enjoyed, Saint-Émilion, try the full-blown version, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru (or even better Grand Cru Classé), but you'll have to pay about the same as you do for a quality Gran Reserva, or upwards!:)
Marco.
A glass or 2 of this tonight. Lovely stuff.

I bought this dry German 2018 Riesling by Alexander Gysler to celebrate my late father's birthday yesterday and was most impressed.
Crisp acidity with subtle but delicious peach and apricot notes, hints of tropical fruit and gooseberry backed by a slightly chalky minerality. Available at Oddbins for £20.

A few weeks ago I had a stunning Grauerburgunder (Pinot Gris) from the same producer - such depth of rich flavours for £13.75 and incredible value at that.
