Both very good Tony, doubt you'll be disappointed. The Legacy is a bargain.
Don't open them though, they might be gone by Christmas if you do!

I’ll hide them, out of sight, out of mind. [emoji4]

I bought three bottles last week;
Ardbeg Uigeadail
GlenAllachie 12 Year Old
Tomatin Legacy
And managed to get my hands on one bottle each of these a couple of weeks a go, Unicorn whiskies!

That's totally natural colour on the 8YO, bottled at 57.1% ABV
I will be I terested to know your thoughts on the 8 YO. I tend to find anything under 12 is a bit young, and has not matured enough, in my opinion. You still get that strong alcohol taste, which covers up the complex tastes behind it.
Very nice... The Campbeltown whiskies have really impressed me so far, it's an area that's easily forgotten when it comes to choosing a dram to sup.
I cracked open these last night; very impressed, more so with the Caol Ila Provenance... Toffee apples and coal tar soap in one hit ;)

"Heavily peated"... Well, that's me out!;)
Enjoy though, Timbo:)
I could do with adding another Whisky to my collection, to replace the Lagavulin 16 I've got in a crystal decanter, which I'm trying to run down, as the smoke is putting me off, but not quite sure what to get...:hmm:
Need to get a nice vintage port too, for Christmas, but I'll pick that up tomorrow in Tanners, when I collect the Beaujolais Nouveau. Fancy some lunch tomorrow in Chester, whilst I'm there and do a spot of Christmas shopping, while the 'lower orders' are at work and the shops are quiet!:eyebrows:
Marco.
ive got loads left.. probably have same next year too.. great and saves money :ner:
From earlier...
Just enjoying a glass of this just now with lunch, and yes, it's lovely! Probably one of the nicest PG's I've had, and stonking value for money... So Roy-Boy [and any other resident PG lovers], get yer arse along to Aldi while stocks last!:cheers:Quote:
