Tightly furled red fruit aromas and hints of liquorice and tobacco

Cool, Barry. Some good stuff there! What about the wine you bought in Aldi or Lidl, which I recommended - how did you get on with that? :)

This Co-op Casablanca Valley Pinot Noir is an absolute steal at just £7.99!!

Weighing in at 14% vol, it's a substantial wine that has real depth to it and a lovely touch of chocolate on the finish.

I've had a couple of bottles of this beauty and will be going back for more.

Are you talking about the
2011 Château Chantemerle, Médoc Cru Bourgeois, and the
2012 Château Grand-Pey-Lescours, St. Émilion Grand Cru?

Well actually I did buy a couple of bottle of each, but I’ve not opened them yet - they will be a private pleasure for the New Year.

I was rat arsed yesterday on Chantry 'Diamond Black Stout' this is Brewed about 10 mins from us.infact it's over the road from where i work.
