By coincidence I have just received a mixed case which includes a couple of bottles of:
2004 Château Villars, Fronsac

69% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Château bottled
Aroma: Minerals, liquorice, black fruits and toasty oak
Taste: Rich full-bodied, ripe and smooth with lush fruits and firm tannins.
Château bottled 13% ABV Drink by end 2019 £17 a bottle.
Nice, but I bet you the one from Lidl is just as good, and less than half the price! ;)

I always prefer a wine that has had a glass out of it the next day.. Bourbon is similar. seems to react with the air well.. especially bourbon actually.
I think it gives the wine/bourbon time to breathe properly.... there I go again all posh...I'll have to stop this!....:lol:Quote:
