Just settling down to enjoy tonight's repast (as we missed doing lunch today), which is this [grilled Gloucester Old Spot pork chop, in a cider and peppercorn sauce, with seasonal greens and sautéed potatoes (latter not shown)]:

With a bottle of this:

...which incidentally, is stunning (as is Del's cooking)! Cheers, folks
Marco.
Away camping tomorrow to Delamere Forest with the wife (we have our own huge luxurious tent, thank god); her folks (in their brand new passion wagon) and the sis-in-law, her husband and their 2 gorgeous daughters (our gorgeous nieces)
Love em all to bits; I genuinely do, but still...
I've got this for sedation purposes :D

A question - Is atholl brose any good? I am tempted to try a Gordon and MacPhail version of it.
Whisky and honey normally. Some use cream as well. That one doesn't tho. Has herbs too. Not my cuppa tea
It seems to get good reviews, so I may try one. It's not expensive....
Tempted to get an Ardbeg Kelpie, Caol Ila 18YO, Port Askaig 100 proof and a Kilchoman Machir bay to replenish the stocks.
The Caol Ila is very difficult to find in France, and the Kelpie is selling out quickly over here.
