Well I used the Glenmorangie contact page and sent them an email it has been at least a week and no response.
This makes me think they no longer care about customer relations,a growing trend in big business.

Shame on them - even just an acknowledgement of receipt of your message should be standard customer service.
A bit better today so opened this Nikka Red.
I'd say straight off I'm not really a big fan of Japan whisky. Nothing wrong with them, but just miss the point for me.
I might make an exception here tho.
This is very nice, especially with a bit of water. It's only 43% and is chill filtered(a blend)
This is smooth, a nice fresh nose and creamy smooth mouth both with orange in.
A lovely finish too with more oranges and cream.
Warming to this and wishing it had been a /0cl bottle instead of 50.
Worth getting if you've a mind. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9b9906962a.jpg
California wines are going to be very hard to find .
The fires have returned to Napa Valley and we lost some vineyards and winery's. Also the grapes that have survived the fires have absorbed so much smoke they are ruined and not being picked. Word is the grapes taste like smoke!
Homes are being lost as well so Napa and Sonoma will probably not produce much if any wine this year.
My condolences to Marco and Del.
Hey mabey ship the grapes to Grant's side of the pond , they can be used to make something of a smokey Brandy. Scott's know what to do with smoke!
Having a whiskey and rye tonight and watching the 1st of the Presidential debates.
Glad to have Grant back, Marco drop in once in a while.
Yah, never did get an email from them ,I will still drink a 14 year G. M. quinta rubin but i'm not impressed with the 10 year to be honest.
Out of all the scotch I have Glenfarklas is my favorite. Tomatain 12 is good too.
And funny I like the screw top Famous Grouse and Naked Grouse with a large ice cube on a warm day.
The Naked Grouse is very young but the sherry gives it just the right note. Can't count out Monkey shoulder either.
Lots of good bottles in the same price as the G.M.10. So if they don't email me back it is their loss.
Kill or cure..[emoji23]
Today opened this 15yr old Glenfiddich solera.
Lovely rich sherry with oranges and warming spices from everywhere. Some oak some sherried.
A tinge of smoke too I'd say. creamy too in mouth
Not had this for a good while and I'd forgot how good it is.
Super drink, and not too complex. Likes a little water.

Had a small Macallan earlier.
Lovely sipping dram out of a quality glass.

I had a nice Redbreast 12 CS just a few drops of water and it was wonderful.
I also added a couple more bottles and got a nice decanter, I put the Carlyle that was bourbon and wine casked in it.
