Nice selection there Grant; the very first bottle, the Aberfeldy, is one of my main go to's for a supping whisky, it's very nice indeed :)

I just ordered a 2 liter white oak chard whiskey cask
It's small 2 liters, The idea is when you get down to the last few ounces in a bottle of Bourbon or Rye .
it gets pored into the cask and blends with the rest of your favorites.
Each blend different from the next or ever evolving as you add to it. While it mellows in the cask.
I am going to fill it and let it sit till next spring ,Baseball season and get my favorite coaches to gather for a glass.
All ready I have some Pendleton Rye, Bullet Rye ,Elijah Craig small batch,Crown Royal to put in it.

I'm becoming rather partial to this wine - it almost replaces the 2007 Chateau Le Boscq in my affection.

Ah, at LONG last a fellow oenophile... I was thinking of renaming this thread the 'Dram Drinkers Dungeon'!!;)

Decent looking claret that, Barry, and keenly priced. I'll see if our local Co-op has it:thumbsup:

Well, you're right of course, but it's not much fun talking to yourself about something no-one else, other than Barry, seems interested in!:ner:

Yes, but you never talk about it or share details/pics of the wine you've enjoyed, as Grant does with his whisky... So would you be willing to do that in future, Robin, in order to encourage more discussion here about wine?:)
