2021 'The Signal Post', Shiraz
https://images.ctfassets.net/6jpeaip...&h=400&fit=pad
This full smooth Shiraz is produced from grapes grown in South Eastern Australia. With wonderful aromas of red fruits, flavours of spice and a hint of oak, this is a great wine to enjoy with roast meats, hearty pasta dishes and cheeses.
Not the smoothest of reds, but perfectly acceptable given the price. It has a decent, if short, finish.
13.5% ABV. £7.50 from the Co-op.

A Red wine from Languedoc-Roussillon, France.
This Saint-Chinian wine is from vineyards located at the southern end of the Massif Central and just 20 miles from the Mediterranean coast, which enables the grapes to benefit from long, hot summers and mild winters, resulting in a smooth, rich, full-bodied wine.
Made by Alain Rogier, winner of the IWC Red Winemaker of the Year in 2015, this is a dry wine with medium acidity, medium tannins and a lengthy finish. With bramble, plum and cherry on the nose, and an array of red and black fruits, with a hint of spice, on the palate, this is an appealing wine offering very good value for money.
Gold medal winner: Concours Des Grands Vins De France A Macon, 2022
Made from 30% Carignan, 30% Shiraz/Syrah, 30% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre grapes
13% ABV. £10.25 a bottle from the Co-Op.
