The Peelers: Banished Misfurtune.
I could never say that I am an avid "Hey Nonney Nonney" but this album always ticked boxes.
traditional Irish stuff with a contempory ( ie 70's) twist or two

Still folky..
COB (Clive's Own Band, ie Clive Palmer of the ISB): Moyshe McStiff & The Tartan Lancers Of The Sacred Heart.
this was originally issued on Polydor in 1972 and is IMHO truly a masterpiece of baroque/acid folk which now sells for hideous amounts on the collectors market.
sadly I only have a CD reish.

Then some Katie Melua and now some Mike Dawes - Era...
This is a stunner.
She’s a Danish lady who lives in Germany, the album receive
critical acclaim and I think went platinum.
Agnes Obel - Philharmonics

This ones is good. Every Valley is another concept album from PSB, this time focusing on the rise and fall of the Welsh coal-mining industry. It mixes interview clips with soaring crescendo rock music, and lyrics on some tracks. Well worth a listen
