Deep Purple "In Concert" (CD - original version)
More restrained than the abandon of their real gigs, but this BBC recording sounds as fresh as a daisy despite being over 40 years ago.

Metallica "Reload" (CD)
Reload (and Load) are the two Metallica albums that I can listen to from start to end. Much as I like most of their other albums I find them a bit, well, tiring to chew off in one sitting. I saw the band live at the NEC after the Black album and had much the same experience - after a great first 45 minutes I just had to go off for a walk around the venue and a chat with the merchandising guys before returning to my seat for the finale. However these two albums add some roll to go with the usual earnest rock and although they were unpopular with some I feel are easier to listen to as complete albums.

Kent - Tigerdrottningen (Tidal FLAC, 16/44.1 2014)
As this great band played their last consert a couple of weeks ago my interest was awakened for their later albums.
Excellent pop/rock but sung in swedish.
