I think you have forgotten those below, included because they all entered into the glam rock spirit at some point, flamboyant, cross-dressing, fantasy lyrics no-one understood, catchy riff driven songs etc.
As you may notice there are some very well known and influential artists who rode the glam rock wave, saw their way through the 2 years of punk backlash, which was effectively engineered anti-pop and went up its own rear end. They then saw the emergence of early goth and new-wave both harping back to glam influences but more edgy in some cases, by the end of the 80’s, the pop scene was loosing its way and became tedious with artists trying to find the new thing.
So whether you liked the glam era or not it did spawn some Very successful artists some of which are still with us today.
