Hawkwind - Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music ( Tidal HiFi )
One of my Desert Island discs [emoji106]
Have to say it sounds really good via Tidal which I'm pleasantly surprised at [emoji6]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9543da418f.jpg
Hawkwind - Levitation ( Tidal HiFi )
Ginger Baker was asked to redo the drumming on some tracks on this album, only took him two days and he then joined the band [emoji6]
Another of my favourite Hawkwind albums [emoji4]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...41ee8e773c.jpg
Another Hawkwind fan, goodman. I first saw them in 74 I think at Southampton Gaumont, superb.
Saw them at Reading festival in 1976, with Stacia, had hug from Stacia in Exeter 50 years later. One of my school friends roadied for them late 70’s.
Saw them at Swindon on their 25 year anniversary tour. Great age.
Last saw them and chatted with some band members at Hawkfest in Seaton Devon 6 years ago.
Hoping to see them again soon.
Needless to say I have a lot of their albums.
Great memories, my only claim to fame is shaking Bob Calverts hand as he ran down the aisle at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh in 1976 [emoji3526]
Currently playing this though....
